Currently I work part time as a Video Journalist for Questiony - a start-up knowledge sharing platform. My role involves presenting, producing content, sourcing and interviewing academic experts, researching, social media creation and scheduling, copy editing, article creation, and making multimedia content for different platforms.

I completed work experience at Manchester World. I felt very welcomed by the team, and I thoroughly enjoyed creating Manchester based content for their site. I conducted interviews, wrote articles, and shadowed a journalist in the field.

I worked as a Freelance Journalist for The Stray Ferret - a news site tailored to delivering news to the Harrogate district. I wrote articles which covered day-to-day news - including breaking news, business, and the arts and entertainment. 

I was a Graduate Intern for York Bike Belles. My role involved creating video content for their website and social medias, to depict the work they carry out within the York Community. I filmed, interviewed, and edited content using Adobe Premier Pro. Videos can be watched via their socials and YouTube.

I am a contributing writer for The New Age Magazine, writing articles and reviews surrounding new and upcoming artists within the UK.

I took part within work experience at The Sheffield Star, covering news from around South Yorkshire. I conducted interviews, wrote articles, and worked within timely deadlines to deliver local news.

I took part within weekly newsdays for Quays News during my MA. I took on many roles throughout the year including reporter, website editor, social media editor, and web-sub editor. 

I took part within work experience with YorkMix, and created articles for their news website. I undertook a local reporting role within the York area, and created news stories under timed deadlines, whilst ensuring stories were newsworthy for their local demographic. This was carried out within a news room environment.
